Completely open sliding door.

Move floor mats in area of paneling (1) to one side.

Unscrew bolt and remove strip (4).

Remove screw/bolt (2).

Remove cap (3) with  snap-release tool and unscrew screw located underneath.

Loosen paneling (1).

 Do not remove foam material from floor covering reinforcement.

Disconnect electrical connector from exit lamp (5) and remove trim (1).

Install in the reverse order.
