Remove PTS warning display rear dome lamp

On vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS)

 First pull out left side from headliner (1)

Remove infrared interior monitoring transmitter/receiver

On vehicles with code (882b) Infrared interior monitoring (only with ATA)

Remove left and right dome lamp in rear

Remove rear and front handles

Remove sun visors

Remove front interior lights

Remove overhead control panel control module

Remove inside rearview mirror

Disconnect rain sensor connector

Remove rail (5) from sliding roof cutout upward (arrows)

Remove driver seat

Remove rear shelf

Disconnect electrical connectors (3) on right below rear shelf

Loosen headliner (1) in rear area from Velcro strips (4)

Unhook headliner (1) from clips (1) in rear area (2)

Slightly pull headliner (1) down in area of windshield

Press headliner (1) with mounting rail toward front (arrows) out of sliding/pop-up roof frame guide (7)

On vehicles with code (414a) Electric glass sliding/pop-up roof

Completely move passenger seat downward and lay backrest down

Remove headliner (1) through passenger door

Remove headliner (1) through rear door

Prepare headliner (1) for installation.

Only when replacing headliner (1).
