Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle.

Remove lower engine compartment lining

Model 907.1/2/6 with code XM1 (Noise abatement measures)

 Installation: Install bottom engine compartment lining only after the leak test.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (3) at AdBlue® metering valve (1).

Open clamp(2).

 Installation: Replace clamp(2)and seal.

Remove AdBlue® metering valve (1) and allow to hang downwards.

 Installation: Ensure correct installation position of AdBlue® metering valve (1) at diesel oxidation catalytic converter (4).

Clean seat of AdBlue® metering valve (1) with lint-free rags.

Seal opening at diesel oxidation catalytic converter (4) using suitable protective cover.

Clamp off coolant hoses (5).

Remove coolant hoses (5) from AdBlue® metering valve (1).

 Collect coolant which flows out.

Seal openings at AdBlue® metering valve (1) with suitable stop plugs.

Release, remove AdBlue® line (6) at AdBlue® metering valve (1) and remove AdBlue® metering valve (1).

 Collect escaping AdBlue ®.

Clean connection of AdBlue® line (6) with lint-free rag.

Seal openings at AdBlue® line (6) and at AdBlue® metering valve (1) with suitable stop plugs.

Check

Check clamps (7) for damage.

If there is a problem,



Replace corresponding clamp (7).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check and correct coolant level.

Read out and delete fault memory.

Perform engine test run and check leak tightness in area of AdBlue® metering valve (1).
