3 | Install compressed air line (3) on test connection (A) | The large oil circuit is checked at test connection (A). | |
4 | Fill water-side of heat exchanger (2) with hot water | Observe the specified water temperature. | |
5 | Slowly apply compressed air to the heat exchanger (2) | In order to avoid damage to the heat exchanger (2), do not exceed the maximum test pressure. The heat exchanger (2) must be replaced if an external leak can be detected or air bubbles form in the hot water. | |
6 | Repeat work step 3 to 5 at test connection (B) | The small oil circuit is checked at test connection (B). | |
7 | Repeat work step 3 to 5 at test connection (C) | The transmission oil circuit is checked at test connection (C). | |
8 | Detach compressed-air line (3) | ||
9 | Detach press-off plate (1) | ||
10 | Drain water from heat exchanger (2) | ||
11 | Install heat exchanger (2) | The new heat exchangers (2) are moistened with preservation oil on the water and oil side. If the heat exchanger (2) is replaced, drain any preservation oil which may have collected and flush out with hot water. | |
12 | Install in the reverse order. |
