Remove air filter housing

Remove fan shroud

Slacken poly V-belt

Remove poly-V belt

Swivel poly V-belt tensioning device to one side

Detach vacuum line (5) from vacuum pump (3)



Remove vacuum pump (3)

 Loosen and tighten the combination bolts (4) evenly.

If piston vacuum pump (Pierburg) is fitted, crank engine at crankshaft if necessary until plunger of vacuum pump is relieved of load.

 Installation: Clean the sealing surfaces and install a new seal (2) and sealing ring.

Pay attention to driver



 If the vacuum pump has been replaced following bearing damage, carefully remove all bearing fragments.
