Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Suction off brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir (10)

Disconnect electrical connector (34a) from ESP brake pressure sensor 1 (B34/1)

Detach ESP brake pressure sensor 1 (B34/1) from tandem master brake cylinder (1)

 Collect brake fluid which runs out with an absorbent rag or in a suitably marked container.



Install in the reverse order

Bleed brake system

Check fluid level in brake fluid reservoir (10) and correct if necessary



Brake system - inspect fluid level

Read out fault memory



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
