Bend up lock tabs (arrows) and unscrew collared nut (1).

 The vehicle may not be moved on its wheels when the collar nuts (1) are unfastened.
Otherwise the wheel bearings may be damaged.

Screw on collar nut (1)   .

 Always replace collar nut (1).
Otherwise the collar nut (1) cannot be properly secured.

Press collar (3), as shown, into notches of rear axle shaft (4).

 There may not be any gap left between the notches and the lock tabs.

Paint match marks on the locked collar nut (1) and the rear axle shaft (4).
