	Disassemble
1	Remove front axle drive shafts	Model designation 731.700	AR33.30-W-0100C
		Designation code 731.720, 733.050	AR33.30-W-0100D
2	Remove ring gear with differential		AR33.30-W-0464B
3	Pull off tapered roller bearings (12 and 1)	 Puller	*001589403300
		 Thrust piece	*360589026300
		 Clamping ring	*731589013400
4	Unscrew bolts (13 and 14)	  Place differential in support and clamp with a suitable thrust piece.	*337589023100
5	Separate top half of differential housing (2) from bottom half of differential housing (11)	 Knock down crown wheel (3) using a rubber mallet.
6	Remove differential side gear (5) with thrust ring (4) from differential spider (8)
7	Remove differential spider (8) with differential bevel gears (7) from bottom half of differential housing (11)
8	Remove dished washers (6) with differential bevel gears (7) from differential spider (8)
9	Remove differential side gear (9) and thrust ring (10) from bottom half of differential housing (11)
	Assemble
10	Install thrust ring (10) and differential side gear (9) in bottom half of differential housing (11)	 Oil the thrust ring (10) and install so that the lubrication slot points to the differential side gear.	*BR00.45-Z-1023-06A
11	Push differential bevel gears (7) with dished washers (6) onto bearing shafts of differential spider (8)	 Oil the components.	*BR00.45-Z-1023-06A
12	Install differential spider (8) in bottom half of differential housing (11)
13	Fit differential side gear (5) with thrust ring (4) on differential spider (8)	 Oil the thrust ring (4) and install so that the lubrication slot points to the differential side gear.	*BR00.45-Z-1023-06A
14	Place top half of differential housing (2) on bottom half of differential housing (11)	 Observe markings on the housing halves. Fit the housing halves together so that the markings are in alignment. Only assemble housing halves with the same identification number.
15	Screw in bolts (14) for top and bottom halves of differential housing	  Use new bolts	*BA33.30-N-1004-01E
16	Raise crown wheel (3) and screw in bolts (13)	  Use new bolts	*BA33.30-N-1001-01E
17	Drive tapered roller bearings (1 and 12) as far as possible onto differential housing	 Heat tapered roller bearings to approx. 80 °C	*WH58.30-Z-1004-20A
18	Install crown wheel with differential		AR33.30-W-0464B
19	Install front axle drive shafts	Model designation 731.700	AR33.30-W-0100C
		Designation code 731.720, 733.050	AR33.30-W-0100D
