1 | Remove brake drum | ||
2 | Remove front wheel hub | ||
3 | Remove brake shoes | ||
4 | Remove brake camshaft and bearing bracket | ||
5 | Remove steering knuckle (4) | Mark steering knuckle (4) with respect to joint housing | |
6 | Pull drive shaft (2) out of support tube | Installation: In order to prevent damage to the radial sealing ring in the axle tube, insert the drive shaft carefully and as horizontal as possible in the axle tube. | |
7 | Remove radial sealing ring (3) from steering knuckle (4) | Installation: Coat radial sealing rings without the outer surface lined with rubber on the outer circumference with sealing compound. Drive radial sealing ring into steering knuckle with the metal collar facing the needle bearing. Grease sealing lip. | |

8 | Remove radial sealing ring (1) on support tube | Installation: Coat radial sealing rings without the outer surface lined with rubber on the outer circumference with sealing compound. Drive radial sealing ring into support tube with the metal collar facing the needle bearing. Grease sealing lip. | |
