Removing

Remove lower transverse control arm

Clamp lower control arm into vise

 Use aluminum jaws

Remove front bearing of lower control arm

 The rear bearing can only be removed when the front bearing has also been removed.

Push out outer rubber mount (4k) with tensioning bolt (012f), support disk (012n), thrust piece (012r), nut (012u) and thrust spindle (012p)



Press out inner rubber mount (4i) with thrust piece (012r) on press

 Clean mounting hole



Install

Insert rubber mount (4i, 4k) with spacer sleeve (4l) into the lower control arm and pull in up to the stop with tensioning bolt (012f), the two thrust pieces (012s) and the nut (012u)

 Note installation position of rubber mount studs (arrows).


