Removing

1

Remove lower transverse control arm

Clamp lower control arm into vise

 Use aluminum jaws

Release and remove steel washer (4g) of hydro-mount (4h) using flat chisel

Pull out hydro-mount (4h) with thrust piece (012c), tensioning bolt (012f), thrust piece (012h) and nut (012u)



 Clean mounting hole

Check rear bearing of lower control arm

 To replace the rear bearing, the front bearing has to be removed, if necessary after checking: 

Install

Insert hydro-mount (4h) with sleeve (012c), tensioning bolt (012f), thrust piece (012e) and nut (012u)

 Parallel surfaces (arrow) of the hydro-mount must be at an angle of 90° to the transverse control arm. The bumps must face towards the vehicle center.

 A previously mounted steel washer (4g) need not be removed.



Pull hydro-mount (4h) all the way to the stop on the collar in the lower control arm

 Do not use an impact wrench.

Push on steel washer (4g) of hydro-mount

Only if not previously mounted

Install lower wishbone
