Remove front axle shaft from respective wheel hub.

Remove ball head from steering knuckle.

Remove torsion bar linkage from stabilizer bar.

Remove nut (2).

If necessary,



counterhold bolt of supporting joint (5).

Remove transverse control arm (3) from supporting joint (5).

 To do so, detach transverse control arm (3) and swivel steering knuckle slightly outward.

Remove supporting joint (5).

 To do so, unscrew screws (4) and remove heat shield (1).

 Installation: Position heat shield (1) correctly.

Install in the reverse order.
