| Remove | ||
1 | Secure vehicle with chocks at rear axle to prevent it from rolling away. | ||
2 | Switch on ignition. | ||
3 | Lower trailing axle. | ||
4 | Switch off ignition. | ||
5 | Drain compressed air system completely. | ||
6 | Remove compressed-air connectors (1). | ||
7 | Disconnect electrical connector (2). | ||
8 | Remove 3/2-way valve (Y80) from holder. | ||
| Install | ||
9 | Mount 3/2-way valve (Y80) onto holder. | 3/2-way valve for raising and lowering trailing axle at bracket | |
10 | Connect electrical connector (2). | ||
11 | Mount compressed air plug connections (1). | ||
| Check | ||
12 | Start the engine and completely fill compressed-air system at idle speed. | ||
13 | Raise trailing axle. | ||
14 | Switch off ignition. | ||
15 | Check compressed air plug connections (2) for leak tightness. | Use commercially available leak detector spray. | |
16 | Remove wheel chocks from rear axle. |
