Open engine hood and secure against falling down

Perform power disconnect on high voltage system

Remove water collector

Remove front wheels

Detach brake hose (1) and electric line (2) from suspension strut (3)

 Installation: Check brake hose (1) and electrical line (2) for damage, replace if necessary.

Detach link rod for stabilizer bar (4) from suspension strut (3)

Remove cam bolt (5)

 Installation: Replace cam bolt (5) and nut.

 Installation: Only tighten with torque of 1st stage. Tightening to the 2nd to 4th stage is conducted after the wheel alignment check.

 Nut, suspension strut cam bolt to steering knuckle

Remove collar bolt (6)

 Installation: Replace collar bolt (6) and nut.

 Installation: Only tighten with torque of 1st stage. Tightening to the 2nd to 4th stage is conducted after the wheel alignment check.

Remove bolts (7) and remove suspension strut (3)

 Screw/bolt, suspension strut to body

Dismantle the strut (3)

Only when replacing suspension strut (3).

Install in the reverse order

Perform wheel alignment check
