Filling

Remove engine air intake duct (3) upstream of air filter.

Release cover (1) and detach from filler pipe (2).

If the transmission is not filled.

Insert funnel into filler pipe (2).

If the transmission is not filled.

Add transmission oil to the transmission.

If the transmission is not filled.

Fit cap (1).

If the transmission is not filled.



Check

Move automatic transmission to park position.

 The vehicle must be exactly horizontal in the longitudinal and transverse direction.

Connect vehicle diagnosis system to the vehicle.



Warm up engine at idle speed and monitor transmission oil temperature using vehicle diagnosis system.

 The transmission oil temperature must be 40 °C  5  °C or 70 °C  5 °C.

When the specified transmission oil temperature is reached, switch off the engine.

Release cover (1) from filler pipe (2) and detach.

Insert dipstick into filler pipe (2) and check transmission oil level.


Wait for a period of 2 to 5 minutes after switching off the engine.
Measurement errors occur otherwise.

If the transmission oil level is too high,



Extract transmission oil.

If the transmission oil level is too low,



Add gear oil.

Add transmission fluid

Insert funnel into filler pipe (2) and add transmission oil to transmission.



 The distance between two scale values on the dipstick corresponds to approx. 0.2 l transmission oil at 20 °C.

Extract transmission oil

Insert hose of hand pump into filler pipe (2) and extract transmission oil.

 The distance between two scale values on the dipstick corresponds to approx. 0.2 l transmission oil at 20 °C.
