Remove/install

Remove transmission (1).

Remove breather (4) from hydraulic line of central clutch release bearing (2).

 To do so, remove clip using a suitable tool.
Collect any escaping brake fluid using suitable rags. Plug openings.

Remove central clutch release bearing (2).

 To do so, remove bolts (3).

 Installation: Check central clutch release bearing (2) for leak tightness and damage.

 Bolt, central clutch operator to transmission housing

If a leak or damage is present,



replace central clutch release bearing (2).



Clean

Clean area surrounding central clutch release bearing (2).

Clean central clutch release bearing (2).

When reusing central clutch release bearing (2).

Assembly cleaner

Check

6

Check sleeve (5) for damage.

If sleeve (5) is damaged,



replace sleeve (5).

Check radial shaft sealing ring at drive end for leak tightness and damage.

If a leak or damage is present,



Replace the radial shaft sealing ring at the drive end.

Install in the reverse order.
