Remove

1

Remove central clutch release bearing.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (1) from transmission (2).


Use a suitable rag as a base.
Otherwise damage may occur.

 Dispose of radial shaft sealing ring (1).

 Removal and installation tool

Clean

Clean contact surfaces of radial shaft sealing ring (1) on transmission (2).

 Use lint-free cleaning cloths when cleaning.

Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray

Install

4

Coat outer contact surfaces and sealing lips of new radial shaft sealing ring (1) with transmission oil.



FE manual transmission oil (specification 235.3)

Install new radial shaft sealing ring (1) in the transmission (2).
