Remove bottom section of soundproofing

Unscrew and remove bearing cap (1) with oil guides (2, 3)

Coat the thread of the bolts (4) with thread locking compound

Remove oil guides (2, 3) from bearing cap (1)

The tabs of the oil guides (2, 3) must engage in the notches (arrows) in the bearing cap (1).

Clean sealing surfaces

Coat sealing surfaces of the bearing cap (1) with sealant.
