Risk of poisoning through swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury through coming into contact with brake fluid and brake fluid entering the eyes.

Only store brake fluid in its original container. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

Notes on handling brake fluid

Remove cap on expansion reservoir (1)

Connect bleed hose (arrow) to expansion reservoir (1)

Remove dust cap, connect hose of receptacle for brake fluid to bleed valve (3)

Open the bleed valve (3) on the clutch slave cylinder until new brake fluid escapes from the bleed valve free of bubbles

To assist the process it is possible to operate the clutch pedal jerkily every 2 to 3 seconds and let it return gently.

Close the bleed valve (3)

Disconnect bleeding unit

Correct fluid level in the expansion reservoir (1) and attach cap

Check bleed valve (3) for leaktightness, mount dust cap
