Replace the guide bearing (3) on the flywheel (4). | |||

4 | Check with a visual inspection on the friction surface of the clutch disc (5) on the engine side | Replace the clutch disc (5) with wear, burns, ribs or cracks and store or replace the clutch pressure plate unit (1). | |
5 | Clean the clutch disc (5) grooves on the engine side and check for displacement on the grooved profile of the transmission drive shaft | | |
The clutch disc (5) needs to move freely through the grooved profile of the transmission drive shaft, otherwise it cannot present excessive clearance, if necessary replace the clutch disc (5) and store or replace the clutch pressure plate unit (1). | |||
6 | Check the guide of the clutch disc on the transmission side (7) on the clutch disc (5) on the engine side | Replace the clutch disc (5) with damage or wear and store or replace the clutch pressure plate unit (1). | |
7 | Check the clutch device with the disconnect bearing (2) on the clutch pressure plate unit (1) for smooth operation and wear | In case of objection, store or replace the clutch pressure plate unit (1). | |
8 | Remove the flywheel (4) | ||

9 | Disassemble and assemble the clutch pressure plate unit (1) | ||
Only when the clutch disc (7) or the clutch device with disconnect bearing (2) is replaced. | |||
