Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or tilting off of the vehicle lift.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Remove engine trim panel

Remove screw/bolts (2) on engine mount (3) from above

Attach engine hoist and raise engine

Remove bottom sections of soundproofing

Remove catalytic converter

Remove diesel particulate filter

Removes screw/bolts (4) for engine mount (3)



Take out engine mount (3)

 Always replace engine mount (3) in pairs.

 Installation: The anti-twist locks (5) for engine supports (3) must sit in the cutouts (6) for engine mount (7).

 Pay attention to environmental protection regulations for disposal of engine mounts (3).

Dispose engine mounts (3) into mixed scrap.

Detach ground line from battery

 Only when removing the right engine support.

Detach electrical line circuit 30 on alternator (G2)

 Only when removing the right engine support .
