Remove/install

Remove engine cover

Remove left and right engine air intake duct upstream of air filter

Unfasten clamps (2) on engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (3)

Flexible boots must not be put under tension or pressure and not separated.
The engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (3) will be damaged otherwise.

3.2

Unfasten retaining clamps (6) on engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (3)

Flexible boots must not be put under tension or pressure and not separated.
The engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (3) will be damaged otherwise.

 Installation: Ensure that seal is in the correct installation position between air filter housings (4) and engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (3).

Remove screw/bolt (1)

Detach air filter housing (4) from engine air intake duct downstream of the air filter (3)


Flexible boots must not be put under tension or pressure and not separated.
The engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (3) will be damaged otherwise.

Pull air filter housing (4) up and out



Check

7

Check for correct seating of the rubbers in the brackets of the air filter housing (4) and for damage and replace if necessary

Install in the reverse order
