Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. | |

3 | Remove rear bumper | ||
4 | Remove water pipe (1) | The water pipe (1) is attached by a pipe clamp on the fan bracket (3). | |
5 | Remove V-belt on fan drive (2) | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connector for fan clutch (6) | ||
7 | Remove fan bracket (3) from bearing (4) | Installation: Between the fan blade and radiator shroud there must be the same clearance over the whole circumference; align the fan wheel (5) with the fan bracket (3) if necessary. | |
8 | Remove fan bracket (3) with fan wheel (5) | First fold outwards at the top and lift out towards the rear. | |
9 | Detach fan wheel (5) from fan clutch (6) | ||
10 | Detach fan clutch (6) from fan bracket (3) | ||
11 | Install in reverse order | ||
| Checking | ||
12 | Check alignment of the belt pulley | Align the fan wheel (5) with the fan bracket (3) as necessary. |
