Remove/install

Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside transmitter range (at least 2 m)

Remove front lower engine compartment paneling

Unclip lower air duct segment from fan unit (4)

Unclip coolant line (9) from fan unit (1)

Release and disconnect electrical connection (5)

Remove upper engine cover

Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter

Remove engine air intake ducts upstream of air filters

Detach the front bumper from reinforcement (3) and headlamps

Unclip cable (1) from cold air intake (2)

Remove retaining clip and remove cold air intake (2) from reinforcement (3)

Remove reinforcement (3)

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter

Detach oil cooler (7) from fan unit (4) and put it to one side with connected lines

Detach switchover valve (8) from fan unit (1) and put it to one side with connected lines

Unclip cold air guide (6) from fan unit (4) and place to one side

Unclip fan unit (4) from radiator frame and pull out upwards

Install in the reverse order

 Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
