Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. | |
1 | Disconnect electrical connection (2) | ||
2 | Pinch off lower coolant hose (3) using pinch-off pliers | ||
3 | Unscrew cap (4) and suction off coolant from expansion reservoir (1) | ||
4 | Detach upper coolant hose (5) | ||
5 | Remove expansion reservoir (1) at the bottom from the suspension strut tower (arrows) and remove it from the bracket (6) in an upwards direction | Installation: Check rubber mounts in the suspension strut tower for correct seating and for damage; replace if necessary. | |
6 | Detach lower coolant hose (3) from expansion reservoir (1) with hose clamp pliers | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Pour in coolant | ||
