Venting air from the low temperature circuit

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Screw on the connection (M) at the pressure tube (7) of the venturi nozzle (6)

During first assembly of the venturi nozzle.

 The venturi nozzle (6) will lose its function if used without the pressure tube (7). The venturi nozzle (6) does not generate a vacuum, but creates excess pressure at connection (U) if the compressed air is connected without the pressure tube (7).

Actuate low temperature circuit with STAR DIAGNOSIS

 Actuate the left charge air cooler circulation pump (M44/1) and right charge air cooler circulation pump (M44/2) using STAR DIAGNOSIS and allow to run for

45 seconds.

Close the cooler vacuum filling device

Fill up fill level in the expansion reservoirs up to the maximum mark (8)

 An excessively high fill level can prevent full purge of the system.

An incompletely purged system can lead to cutting out of the compressor charging due to different temperature conditions.
