Detach connector for electric suction fan for engine and air conditioning system

Remove fan shroud (1)

Attach guard plate for radiator and condenser

Turn the hexagon (3) of the tensioner pulley (4) in the counterclockwise direction until the tensioner pulley (4) can be locked with a drift (6)

Use pin with a diameter of 5 mm.

Remove poly-V belt (2)

Checking

Check the tread patterns of the poly-V belt washers and of the tensioning devices for damage and dirt

Check the poly-V belt (2) for wear or damage and replace if necessary

Check visible area of poly-V belt for wear

Install

Fit on and tension the poly-V belt (2) in the numerical order beginning at the crankshaft

Do not use wax or similar products, as this may cause the poly-V-belt (2) to slip.
