Remove lower engine compartment paneling

Remove charge air hose (1) at charge air cooler

Remove air supply ducting for cooler

Remove crossmember

Remove cooler air duct insert

Unlock locks on cooler

Swivel cooler out of working area

 To do this unhook charge air hose (1) from radiator shroud.

Disconnect electrical connections (2, 3)

Remove hose (6)

Remove charge air hose (1) from throttle valve actuator

 For this purpose, remove screw/bolts (4).

 Bolt, charge air hose to throttle valve actuator

Remove electrical wiring harness (5) from charge air hose (1)

Remove charge air hose (1)

 To do this remove charge air hose (1) upwards.

Install in the reverse order



 Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
