1 | Open last service flap at rear left | ||
2 | Detach shield (1) at turbocharger (2) | ||
3 | Remove exhaust flap (3) | ||
4 | Detach connections at turbocharger (2) | ||
5 | Remove charge air pipe | ||
6 | Detach oil return flow line at turbocharger (2) | ||
7 | Detach exhaust manifold at turbocharger (2) | ||
8 | Detach turbocharger (2) | ||
9 | Install in reverse order | ||
10 | Open engine compartment flap at rear | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near engine | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving off by itself. | |
11 | Relieve oil pressure in engine | Do not start engine until oil pressure has built up otherwise there is a risk of engine damage. | |
Crank engine by simultaneously pressing the Start pushbutton switch (S1/10) and the Stop pushbutton switch (S1/11) until the indicator lamp for oil pressure goes out. Simultaneous pressing prevents the engine firing. | |||
