1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
2 | Remove engine cover | ||
3 | Unclip the coolant vent line (2) at the air intake pipe (1) | ||
4 | Unclip the vacuum line (3) at the air intake pipe (1) and the engine wiring harness, remove the boost pressure control flap at the vacuum cell and put it to the side | ||
5 | Unclip the vacuum line (4) at the air intake pipe (1) | ||
6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector at pressure sensor downstream of air filter (B28/5) | ||
7 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector at the heating element vent line for full-load operation (R39/2) | ||
8 | Pull off the full-load vent line (5) from the heating element vent line for full-load operation (R39/2) | ||
9 | Unclip the engine wiring harness at the air intake pipe (1) | ||
10 | Pull off the partial load vent line (6) at the air intake pipe (1) | ||
11 | Loosen the clamps (7) at the air intake pipe (1) | ||
12 | Remove the air intake pipe (1) | ||
13 | Remove the compensating ring on the exhaust gas turbocharger between the air intake pipe (1) and the exhaust gas turbocharger | Installation: Replace the compensating ring each time after having removed it. | |

14 | Remove the pressure sensor downstream of the air filter (B28/5) from the air intake pipe (1) | When replacing the air intake pipe (1). | |
15 | Remove the heating element vent line for full-load operation (R39/2) from the air intake pipe (1) | When replacing the air intake pipe (1). | |
