1 | Open engine hood | ||
2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Unplug connector (1) of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) | ||
4 | Disengage the bracket (2) of the hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) on the right at the resonance intake manifold (3) | Whilst doing so, pull the bracket (2) upwards until it cannot latch back in. | |
5 | Disengage the retaining spring (4) | In doing so, pull the hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) up as far as possible until the retaining spring (4) cannot latch back in. | |
6 | Release the bracket (2) of the hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) on the left of resonance intake manifold (3) and remove hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) from the air duct housing (5). | Installation: Check the seal ring between air duct housing (5) and hot film MAF sensor (B2/5), and replace if necessary. Check the bracket (2) of hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) and retaining spring (4), replace bracket (2) or air duct housing (5) if necessary. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary |
