2

Remove air filter housing

AR09.10-P-1150VA

3

Unplug connector (1) of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)

4

Disengage the bracket (2) of the hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) on the right at the resonance intake manifold (3)

Whilst doing so, pull the bracket (2) upwards until it cannot latch back in.

5

Disengage the retaining spring (4)

In doing so, pull the hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) up as far as possible until the retaining spring (4) cannot latch back in.

6

Release the bracket (2) of the hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) on the left of resonance intake manifold (3) and remove hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) from the air duct housing (5).

Installation: Check the seal ring between air duct housing (5) and hot film MAF sensor (B2/5), and replace if necessary. Check the bracket (2) of hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) and retaining spring (4), replace bracket (2) or air duct housing (5) if necessary.

7

Install in the reverse order

8

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary
