Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove upper engine cover.

Release electrical connector(1) and disconnect.

Remove nut (2).

 Bolt/nut, differential pressure sensor to bracket

Unclip bracket (3) at firewall.

Remove rear bottom engine compartment lining.

Remove clamps at pressure hoses (4) of gasoline particulate filter (5).

 Installation: Position clamps in original installation position.

Remove pressure hoses (4) from pressure lines of gasoline particulate filter (5).

 Installation:
Do not mix up pressure hoses (4).
Gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) malfunctions will otherwise occur.

 Mark installation position.

 Installation: Observe markings.

Seal openings with suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Remove gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) upwards.

Install in the reverse order.

Read out and delete fault memory.


