1 | Remove cylinder head cover trim | ||
2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) at pressure differential sensor (DPF) (B28/8) | ||
4 | Unscrew screw/bolt (2) | | |
5 | Loosen hose clamps (3) | Only hose clamps (3) for molded hoses may be loosened at the pressure lines (4). When loosening hose clamps (3) on the differential pressure sensor (DPF) (B28/8) hairline cracks form at the differential pressure sensor (DPF) (B28/8) which can limit its function. | |
6 | Detach differential pressure sensor (DPF) (B28/8) with molded hoses from pressure lines (4) | Installation: Mount molded hoses free of tension. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Connect Star Diagnosis, read out fault memory and erase if necessary | Stored faults which may be caused by assembly work, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in fault memories after completing the work. |
