Remove

Remove transmission.

Install retaining lock for crankshaft / starter ring gear.

Loosen screws (1 to 6).


To loosen the screws (1 to 6), do not use an impact wrench or similar compressed air tools.
Failure to observe will cause damage to the thread in the crankshaft flange.

Remove screws (1 to 6) and remove flywheel/drive plate (7).

 Aid of helper required.

Check rear radial shaft sealing ring for leak tightness and damage.

If problems exist,



Replace rear radial shaft sealing ring.

Install

Position flywheel/drive plate (7) on crankshaft.

 Aid of helper required.

 The dowel pin of the crankshaft determines the installation position of the flywheel/drive plate (7).

Tighten screws (1 to 6) slightly by hand and screw tight as per the illustration in the numerical sequence.

Remove retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear.
