1	Remove belt pulley/vibration damper (2)	Vehicles without code (ML3) High-speed fan drive with belt drive and vehicles without code (MZ5) Electromagnetic fan drive (Linnig clutch).	AR03.30-W-1600B
		Vehicles with code (ML3) High-speed fan drive with belt drive.	AR03.30-W-1600BA
		Only vehicles with code (MZ5) Electromagnetic fan drive (Linnig clutch)	AR03.30-W-1600BB
2	Remove radial shaft sealing ring (1)		AR03.20-W-3000-02A
		 Removal and insertion device	*541589023300
	Checking
3	Check contact surface of the radial shaft sealing ring (1) on the crankshaft flange or on the race	 If there is galling on the crankshaft flange or on race: 
		Mount new race onto the crankshaft.	AR03.20-W-2570A
	Install
4	Install radial shaft sealing ring (1)	 New radial shaft sealing ring (1) on the outer surface dry and on the contact surface wetted with engine oil.	AR03.20-W-3000-01A
		If a race is mounted on the crankshaft flange then a radial shaft sealing ring (1) with a large inside diameter must be installed.

6	Start engine and perform an engine test run
7	Stop engine and check the radial shaft sealing ring (1) for leaks	 Visual inspection.
