8 Radial seal

6 Belt pulley/vibration damper

1 | Remove poly V-belt (1) | ||
2 | Install retaining lock (2) for crankshaft / ring gear | ||
3 | Remove belt pulley / vibration damper (6) | Inspect running surface of hub for notches. | |
If hub of belt pulley / vibration damper (6) is tight, lever off carefully with assembly lever. | |||

4 | Use a suitable tool to remove radial seal (8) | Do not damage crankshaft and mounting hole for radial seal. Use a clean cloth as a base. | |
Installation: Grease sealing lip of radial seal (8). | |||

5 | Install in the reverse order | ||

6 | Run engine and inspect for leaks |
