 	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition
 Danger!	Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted	Ensure that no one is within tilting range of cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt cab all the way to end position and secure with safety strut.	AS60.80-Z-0001-01A
2	Tilt cab	 Installation: Only tilt cab back after leak test has been conducted.

3	Remove soundproofing on frame below	 Installation: Only install soundproofing after the leak test.
4	Drain engine oil	 Use an old oil suction unit if necessary.
		 Installation: If the oil drain screw (6) was removed install oil drain screw (6) with a new seal ring (5).	AR18.00-W-3035-02J

5	Remove electrical connector (3) on engine control (MR) control unit and disconnect
6	Expose electrical line for oil level sensor (B14)
7	Detach oil filler line (4) at oil pan (1)
8	Dismantle transmission oil lines at brackets and tie to one side	 Only on vehicles with code (N55) Transmission oil cooling. Do not disconnect transmission oil lines.
9	Remove oil pan (1)	 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces on engine and on oil pan (1) and replace seal (2).

10	Convert oil level sensor (B14)	 Only when installing a new oil pan (1). Use a special socket to change the oil level sensor (B14) (SW27).

11	Install in the reverse order
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 12	Start engine and allow to run in idle for 10 s until the oil pressure has built up, then run the engine at varying speeds
13	Turn off engine and check area of oil pan (1) for leaks
14	Check engine oil level at display; correct if necessary	 Observe engine oil grade set in maintenance system or Specifications for Operating Fluids.
