Remove/install

 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Use claw wrench (4) to remove protective sleeve (2) from cylinder head



Protective sleeve modified

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and thread (arrow) on the protective sleeve (2) and clean on cylinder head; recut thread (arrow) if necessary.
Coat thread (arrow) of the protective sleeve (2) with thread locking compound and install protective sleeve (2).

 Only if the information label is not available yet or is no longer recognizable.

Remove O-rings (3) from cylinder head

 Installation: Insert new O-ring (3) with lubricant.
