1 | Open the fuel tank cap and close it again | This is necessary to eliminate the excess of pressure from the fuel tank. | |

3 | Unfasten the cap (1) and remove the filter element (3) from the filter housing (4) | Pay attention to prevent foreign bodies from entering the filter housing (4). Under no circumstances clean the filter housing (4). | |
4 | Clean the cap (1) and the filter element (3) | Replace the filter element (3) if it is too very dirty or damaged. | |
5 | Replace the sealing ring (2) | Grease the sealing ring (2) slightly. | |
6 | Screw and tighten the cap (1) with the filter element (3) | Cover on the fuel pre-filter housing | |
7 | Actuate the engine start-up and bleed the fuel system | Allow the engine to run for approximately 1 minute. The fuel system bleeds automatically. | |
8 | Check the tightness of the pre-filter with the engine running. | ||
9 | Stop the engine |
