The previous 11" single brake booster has been replaced by a
10" tandem brake booster, which provides much greater brake servo assistance.

The force exerted by the driver via his foot both in the response zone and in particular in the zone of the locking pressure is much lower than with the 11" single brake booster.

Operating comfort is thus considerably increased. The new response characteristics have been assessed positively in the trade press.

The brake is not softer, but the force to be exerted by the foot is reduced!

This distinction must not be confused when assessing the brake.

Please acquire information on this subject from your sales division as well, because the Important Information No. 25 talks of a "softer brake pedal".
