Arrow Coolant remains
Due to recent events we would like to point out that before replacing a coolant expansion reservoir, the leaktightness must be checked with a pressure device.
As excess coolant is diverted directly from the plug above the coolant expansion reservoir, deposits of coolant remains (arrow) can occur. As a result the reservoir can be considered leaky.
In order to avoid OK parts being removed, before replacing the coolant expansion reservoir, this must be checked for leaktightness with a pressure device.
In the event of parts removal being unjustified, a take-over of expenditures via warranty invoice is excluded.
