Removal and installation

Note
The heater unit can be removed and installed as appropriate on all models listed in the installation survey (83-0002).
1 Disconnect battery.
2 Drain coolant.
Installation note
- For total capacities of cooling system with heater and mixture ratio of corrosion/anti-freeze protection agent and water, refer to Specifications for Service Products, Sheet 310; 325.0.
- Bleed coolant circuit (83-6022).
3 Disconnect plug connection (7).
4 Remove fuel suction line (5) and fuel return line (4) on heater.
5 Remove coolant hoses (3/8) and exhaust line (10).
6 Remove heater unit (1).
7 Install in reverse sequence.
