Do not operate stationary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Risk of injury to skin and eyes from scalding with hot coolant which splashes out. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Remove front seat

Prepare assembly plate for the water heater unit for installation

Make up coolant hoses for connecting to coolant and heating systems

Install water heater unit, exhaust gas and combustion air intake lines to the assembly plate

Bolt on assembly plate with water heater unit to the floor of the vehicle

Connect water heater to coolant and heater systems

Install timer onto instrument panel

Install wiring harness

Fit remaining parts to vehicle

Fill collected coolant into coolant reservoir and close top on reservoir

Start vehicle engine and let it idle

Switch engine off after roughly 4 minutes, check the engine coolant level and top up coolant if necessary



Switch water heater on as described in operating instructions and conduct a functional check in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications

 During the functional check the fuel lines and connections should also be inspected for signs of leaks.

Bleed water heater unit

 Bleeding is only necessary if during the functional check a malfunction occurred because of overheating.
