1 Position assembly plate for marking the mounting holes at the two cross braces behind the left-hand wheelhouse.
The reference points for the correct installation position of the assembly plate are the cutouts on the fastening shackles. When the installation position is correct, the cavity plugs for the two cross braces are located inside the cutouts (arrows).
2 Mark two mounting holes each (1 und 2) on the cross braces and remove the assembly plate.
3 Bore holes at the marked positions on the cross braces to a of 9.5 mm.
4 Insert M6 riveting nuts with manual riveting tool into the holes.
5 Apply corrosion protection.
