Loosen base module and fold out

 Do not disconnect electrical leads.

Remove instrument cluster paneling



Release and fold back instrument cluster

Remove center air vent



Release and fold out center switch panel

Remove bottom paneling for dashboard on driver side

After removal of the paneling, the support rod must be reinstalled by the time the paneling is reinstalled.
Otherwise there is a risk if accident.

Loosen curtain rail in area of left A-pillar



Remove left screw/bolt for driver sun visor at headliner

Remove cover frame at pop-up roof



Remove implement carrier from center stowage box



 Remove onboard unit (toll calculation unit) if necessary.
Do not remove center stowage box.

Unclip and remove right stowage compartment from center stowage box



Install

Only if no parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit is installed.

Insert covering or On-Board-Unit (toll calculation unit) into bottom installation slot

 After installing the On-Board-Unit (toll calculation unit), the tamper telltale must be re-secured using a new lead seal.

Fill out FleetBoard® initial startup form and send by fax



 The FleetBoard® administrator will establish contact after receiving the fax to log on the vehicle in the FleetBoard® server.
