3 | Unlock locking lugs (8) of cover (1) | ||
4 | Lift up cover (1) and remove from casing housing (4) of the heater | ||
5.1 | Detach exhaust gas line, combustion air line, flange plate and flange gasket from heater unit | Only AIRTRONIC heater D2. Installation: Check condition of flange gasket (5) and replace if necessary. | |
6 | Remove auxiliary heater control unit (2) | ||
7 | Take heater out of casing housing | ||
8 | Detach combustion air blower and hot air blower (7) from heat exchanger (3) | Installation: Note the tightening sequence A-D for the screws. | |
9 | Take off gasket (6) | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces. Replace gasket (6). | |
10 | Install in the reverse order |
