Danger!

Risk of explosion from fuel vapors, risk of poisoning from inhaling combustion gases and risk of injury from burns during and after operation of heater unit

Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or while filling fuel tank. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Detach fixing clamp (8) of exhaust gas line (2) from underbody

Detach fixing clamp (10) of combustion air line (3) from underbody

Danger!

Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel.

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Loosen hose clamp (4) and pull fuel line (7) off heater

Collect fuel which flows out.

Unscrew nuts (9) of heater (1)

Remove seat frame of rear bench seat and fold rear bench seat upwards

Disconnect connector (5) of connection line

Remove heater (1) with gasket (6) from cab floor

Installation: Install new gasket (6).

Clean sealing surfaces

Install in the reverse order

10

Check function of auxiliary heater
