3 | Unlock locking lugs (3) of cover (1) | ||
4 | Lift up cover (1) and remove from casing housing (2) of the heater | ||
5 | Remove auxiliary heater control unit (8) | Only remove control unit, do not disconnect cables | |
6 | Disconnect plug (4) of connection line for glow pin from auxiliary heater control unit (8) | ||
7 | Remove grommet (5) and unscrew glow pin (6) | ||
8 | Pull glow pin screen (7) out of glow pin pocket | Installation: Position the glow pin screen (7) so that the recess clearance (arrow) is at a right angle to the longitudinal axis of the heater. Carefully insert the screen in the passage as far as it will go. After the screen is fully inserted, the ventilation bore (9) for the glow pin must be aligned exactly with the recess clearance. | |
