Remove/install refrigerant compressor

Remove/install

 Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Disconnect refrigerant compressor connector (A9x1)

Remove suction line (11) and pressure line (10) from refrigerant compressor (A9)

 Seal connections immediately with stop plugs.

Remove screws/bolts (2, 2a)

Remove refrigerant compressor (A9)

 Remove refrigerant compressor (A9) upward.

 Installation: When installing a new refrigerant compressor (A9), slowly relieve pressure from new refrigerant compressor (A9).

Correct oil level in refrigerant compressor (A9)

 Installation: If the refrigerant compressor (A9) was replaced due to interior damage:



Replace suction line (11) and pressure line (10) together with seal rings.

replace expansion valve.
